A Chicago Native, Voncia, studied Psychology with a minor in Juvenile Justice. Later obtaining her credentials in Human Services. A former Assistant Probation Officer & Teen Counselor, she saw first hand the damaging effects, of how secrets can plague the structure of the family core value system. Reflecting as a survivor of victimization and overcoming being a teen parent, she understands the hurdles that have to be conquered for survival. From her incredible life experiences, being well traveled, coupled with her Continued Education. Her Passion developed this platform, along with several others, to give voice to those who felt they had none. She provides incredible insight to the possibilities of hope for victims of incest, rape and molestation. Her desired goal, is to bring awareness to those that have suffered in silence. That they may find solace in the fact that they are not alone. The debut of "The Twenty Year Nap!" accounts the mindset of a victim that hasn't found a voice, but in turn discovers suppression of the Trauma encountered, causing several personalities to spring forth into manifestation.
